Important information
Indications
It is thought that Native Americans were the first group to use cranberry to promote bladder and kidney health beginning 12,000 years ago. Now, cranberry has a long history of scientific research establishing its benefit to the urinary tract. Primarily, research has focused on the phytonutrient proanthocyanidins, a compound found in cranberries that helps prevent bacteria from sticking to the urinary tract lining.
Ingredients
Originating in Cape Cod, our berries have a long history of cultivation: some vines are over 100 years old. Now they grow in bogs in the US and Canada. Bogs are sandy, mossy wetlands that are flooded each year for harvesting seasonally, from September through November.
